Feeling Sick
Well I have not been feeling very good the last couple of days and turns our I have a bad case of tonsillitis. Yuck. Got some antibiotics though so hopefully I will be feeling better soon. We went to our o.b. appointment today and Cora is growing great. The placenta has moved up also which is good news. Mattie has finished cutting her bottom molars so she only has her upper right one to go and it looks like it might give her a little break in between. She is such a happy girl and loves to read her Strawberry Shortcake book. Her favorite movie is still Veggie Tales and she can say the word cat now and it sounds perfect. She is growing up so fast, we are so blessed to have her. James is preparing to go in the field. :( But he won't be gone long and then he won't have to go again until January (he gets to miss the November field training because Cora will be coming). He had his wrestling tournament, he had fun and learned a lot. Hope all is going well with all of you. God bless.

So Sweet
Last night before she went to bed James and Mattie were playing hide and seek. She just learned how and hides in the same spot in Cora's closet every time. Then James walks around saying "where is Mattie" and peeks in the closet and Mattie giggles. It is sooo sweet. Then James runs and hides somewhere and and Mattie and I go find him and back and forth for as long as mommy and daddy will go. We did not even show her how to hide she just started doing it and we played along. She is at such a fun age.

Another Little Update
Things are going good here. Mattie is still trying to get all those molars through, seems like it is taking a long time. We had our ultrasound today and we will find out the results about the placenta moving up on the 16th. Cora weighed in at one pound fifteen ounces. She moving around like crazy too. James has a combative tournament this Thursday and Friday, he is really excited. He has always loved all that wrestling stuff :) and he is good at it too. I am feeling pretty good, just tired mostly. Getting excited to visit all our family soon too. Love all you guys!

Cora News
We went to our consolation about the scheduled c-section vs. a scheduled induction today and because of Mattie getting stuck for a minute and a half last time the doctor told us that we needed to get a c-section. He said unless their is something wrong with the baby, babies get bigger each consecutive pregnancy. So we are going to have the same problem with Cora and it will probably be worse which could endanger her life. So we opted for the c-section to guarantee the safety of our little princess. Looks like Cora will be here bright and early November 6th (unless she has other plans for sooner) . Our next regular check up is on the 16th of August.

End Of July Update
Hello all! We are doing well here. Just been enjoying the summer. Looks like we are putting off moving on to base until after Cora is born (like a week or two after) so we don't have to go through all the paperwork hassle of getting out of our lease. We will have a busy November it looks like but that is okay, it will be fun I am sure or at least I hope. ;)
Mattie had a growth spurt sometime this last week and most of her shirts do not fit her any more. She is now 32.5 inches tall and 27.3 pounds! Such a big girl, not so much a baby anymore. Looks like she is going to need little shopping trip. I think I will check out my favorite baby thrift store when I am in California. I love that place. Tons of the stuff was almost new and only a few bucks each. Clothing is so expensive! Especially for little kids because they grow out of it so fast.
We have an appointment on the 28th to check up on Cora and I, however James also has a 12 mile ruck (a ruck is a back pack that weighs about 25 pounds fully loaded) march at three that morning. :( Not so fun for him. He is tough though, invincible is the way he would say it. Well, I hope all is well for you all. God Bless!
Here are some pics of Mattie this month :)

Some of Mattie's Words
Anything she is pointing at = "dat" or sometimes "what is dat"
Anything she is not supposed to touch = "hot"
Food = "hot" (even if it is a popsicle)
Camera = "cheese"
Shower/Bath = "ba"
Vacuum = "vac"
Baby = "beebee"
Foot = "fooooot"
Yeah = "yeah"
Time to leave = "go"
I love you = *smooch*
I need my diaper changed = lay on the floor and fake cry
Quite = "shhhh"
Bed time/I'm tired = "shhhh"
All done = "a da!" with arms above her head or trying to give us her plate
Help me or I want to help you = "elp"
Come here = grabs our hand and guides to what she wants
